Francisca Garcia

Francisca was born in Santiago, Chile.

She migrated to Paris, France, to study Contemporary Dance, and graduated in 1997. She was greatly inspired by a dance teacher from NY, who convinced her to move there to persue her dancing career. She did, and NY became her home for 13 years.

 

She studied KT with Susan Klein and Barbara Mahler (1997 - 2015) and this enriched her dancing tremendously.  She performed for independant companies through out the years, and since 2005 has been choreographing her own works.

 

She has been teaching GT and GK since 2002, and MP since 2007.

PR has been recently introduced to her, through Balanced Body, and she greatly enjoys teaching it.

 

KT is a true passion, and she taught at Dance New Amsterdam, today Gibney Dance, 2006-08. Later continued teaching to dancers in Mexico, 2008-12.

 

ZB  became a passion in 2006, helping dancers and people in general improve their quality of life.

 

In 2008 Francisca left NY to look for new horizons in Mexico, where she continued dancing, choreographing, and teaching. In 2012, GT brought her to Singapore, where she teaches today, at TMB.

 

She loves the city, the tropical weather, and the food!
